How it works

From a swipe to a night out.

  1. 1

    Make your group

Create one, share the code, build a profile together.

  2. 2

    Swipe together

Anyone can put another group forward.

  3. 3

    Agree as a group

    Discuss among yourselves.

  4. 4

    Wait to hear back

    The other group decides

  5. 5

    Start talking

One chat, both groups, everyone included.

One person can't speak for everyone.

A swipe is a suggestion, not a decision. Nothing reaches another group until yours has agreed on it.

The Brunch Club

Waiting on your group

After the match

One chat. Both groups. No awkward intro.

Everyone lands in the same thread. No swapping numbers, no one person stuck playing host.

Questions, answered.

Who made Bool Social?

Bool Social is an 8Burgs LLC product.

Is Bool a dating app?

Bool matches groups with groups. Plenty of people use it to find friends to go out with, and what happens after two groups meet is entirely up to them. Either way, you are never dropped into a one-on-one with a stranger.

How do I start a group?

Create a group, then share the invite code it gives you. Anyone who enters that code joins. Build the profile together — photos and a few answers about what your group is actually like.

What does the leader actually do?

Whoever created the group is its leader. They review the suggestions members make before anything is sent, manage who is in the group, and can hand leadership to someone else at any time.

Can one person get us matched on their own?

No, and that is the point. Any member can swipe, but a yes only creates a suggestion. It waits in Pending until the leader sends it, and the other group has to approve it too before anyone gets a chat.

Who can see my group?

Groups in your city.

What if someone is a problem?

You can block a person, report a person or a whole group from the menu in the top-right of any profile, and leave a group whenever you like. Leaders can remove members and dissolve the group entirely.

Does Bool cost anything?

No. Bool is free to join and free to use. You sign up with your phone number.

How do I delete my account?

Profile, then Settings, then delete your account. It removes your profile and your memberships.
